Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia AKA K-Von is one of Adelaide’s more compelling DJ’s. With his ubiquitous record bag of dusty vinyl gems he has toured Brazil with Nokia’s annual MobJam party, played the underground depths of Sydney’s infamous Club 77 aswell as our own Rocket Bar. Rather unsurprisingly his forray into production is equally as compelling with Williamsburg Get Down to This.

He has also put together a mix that he describes as ‘2001 a Space Odyssey’ meets ‘Rumble in the Jungle’

The only live band I have seen this year that really impressed me was the Swiss – sorry everyone else. They are the coolest ever. I can’t put my finger on it but there is something more to them than just a trio super talented musicians letting loose. I think we are all waiting with baited breath for the their second EP out on Modular.
Triple J’s accolades are sure to be the first of many to come over the next few months for the new EP with tracks like Bubble Bath – available to stream on Triple J. Check out their interview aswell – Tony is pretty funny.

M Division is a sweet Melbourne based label doing some cool stuff lately. I first heard about them a few months ago when Aaronak played Inverto’s live cover of Chip E’s Seminal Time to Jack.
They are kindly giving away the 3rd volume of their Miserabalist edit series- which contains 4 very different and interesting tracks.
