Sid, Tony and Luke have been heating up clubs and warming (maybe breaking) hearts across Europe this month. Recently they put together a mix for a Belgian radio station for the fans - Belgium is the first country where they have had a top 40 single. Hopefully when they get a Top of the Pops performance it will take the best part of early Depeche Mode, Zombie Nation and Tiga.

The only live band I have seen this year that really impressed me was the Swiss – sorry everyone else. They are the coolest ever. I can’t put my finger on it but there is something more to them than just a trio super talented musicians letting loose. I think we are all waiting with baited breath for the their second EP out on Modular.
Triple J’s accolades are sure to be the first of many to come over the next few months for the new EP with tracks like Bubble Bath – available to stream on Triple J. Check out their interview aswell – Tony is pretty funny.

After nearly 2 years , a lawsuit over their name and losing their drummer to the Midnight Juggernauts the Lost Valentinos are finally back playing live in Adelaide on the 27th of August with support from The Swiss.
Lost Valentinos are hands down one of the most interesting indie bands in Australia at the moment. After what seems like an eternity of waiting their debut album produced by Ewan Pearson is finally upon us – it almost felt like waiting for the Avalanches second album.

In a time when everyone who isn’t Crookers is claiming to be a “disco act”, there is an insurmountable wash of pretenders. The Swiss, however, are a legit live disco band who’s existence is based on entirely on flavour and good times rather than the Cobra Snake and fitted caps. [NERDY BIT: They are a band who are getting Giancarlo Meo tattoos rather than googling Giorgio Moroder best-of tracklists]
The EP “Movements” is testament to what lies at the core lifestyle of The Swiss: crisp and snappy drums that cause pregnancies, quicksand lazer-sludge bass, dizzy pops & flourishes, melody rays and synthesised strings that glide on the thermal currents of life. It’s as much a breathy telephone call as it is a mid-range Bordeaux shared between ensconced lovers.
Produced by Donnie Sloan (Empire Of The Sun), “Movements” is a jam-lover’s jam. A first-class ticket aboard the Jam Express, all the way to Jam Central, Jamsville, the Jamniverse.
